A Close Shave, a film by Rahul “Frenchy” Brown

Ouch!

I am pleased – OK, not all that pleased – to present A Close Shave, the latest film by celebrated international auteur, Rahul “Frenchy” Brown. This is an exclusive memestream world premiere.

The film, presented in three acts and a powerful epilogue, is a tragic-comedy of sub-epic proportions. It explores a variety of issues surrounding intravenous (and intramuscular) drug use, focusing principally on the devastating mental destruction that is an all-too-frequent side-effect of the high.

    Mark,

I’m at a loss for words.

One thing this video affirms in me is the long held belief that you my friend are one person that can *always* benefit by being on drugs.

My dear *smile* .. I am not sure if I should be sympathetic to your pain or laugh at your drugged attempt for control of the situation *grin*. Okay .. both!

However, I am glad you are better .. pain like that is awful .. but I am not clear .. did you get shaved or not? *lol*

This is hilarious! Mark – can’t believe you were in Delhi all these days and didn’t even tell me. Since I don’t doubt your undying admiration for me, I’m guessing that you’ve been hiding from my mom. Don’t worry, I’ve spilled the beans on all the fatty deposits lounging inside you, and she’s preparing a long email of advice :)

At its most fun, memestream is a dialogue -- or, better, a cacophony -- rather than a library of overwrought essays reflecting a single point of view. For that, we need your two cents!

If you read anything on memestream that provokes an interesting thought, an emotion, a laugh, violent disagreement, passionate agreement, an anecdote, an uncontrollable non sequitur... be sure to leave a comment.
