    A cauliflower soup recipe, Emily? I’d say, use whatever you have in the refrigerator.

    I sauteed an onion; added some garlic; threw in a little water and chicken demiglace, and steamed the cauliflower and a leftover half carrot; blended the crap out of the steamed stuff; put the sludge back on the stove with a liberal slug of heavy cream; seasoned with salt, pepper, and herbs; and topped with the chive blossoms.

    Dinner doesn’t get any easier.
